To celebrate Earth Day we’re excited to announce $2,500 contributed this year to Citizens for Los Angeles Wildlife (CLAW)<\/a>, a local wildlife charity we’ve partnered with as a recipient of our $1 Wild Buck donations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Citizens for Los Angeles Wildlife (CLAW)<\/a> held another re-wilding event this past Saturday to see CLAW’s seeding efforts of 2022 with a local super bloom! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Volunteers weeded around the 100 plant and sprouted nuts at their re-wilding project site at the intersection of Mulholland and Laurel Canyon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the pictures, you’ll see CLAW’s Educational Programs Manager Cassandra posing with a juvenile black walnut and hugging an adult black walnut tree. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Did you know Black walnut trees are one of LA’s protected trees and can take as long as 10 years to mature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Volunteers located and flagged black walnut seedlings amongst the tall grass to protect them from the annual brush clearance. CLAW also placed a bee careful sign at an active bee hive at the site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently $1 from every item sold at Runyon.co<\/a> is donated to charitable causes like CLAW. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, 100% of the proceeds from the Mountain Lion P-22 Urban Legend Shirt also is donated to CLAW. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
