I ordered one of these in size medium, and i was initially impressed by feel of the fabric, fit and quality of build.
Unfortunately, I am struggling to find a use for trail running. In temps 50 and below, the shirt is too cold after sweating, and is a liability in the backcountry. On humid days with temps in 80s and above it is actually too hot.
I have worn a number of hoodies (fave probably being RAB Force) and I gave this one a shot because everything else I have tried by Runyon has been outstanding, but this doesn't cut it for trail running use in my opinion.

Hi Patrick, Thanks for the valuable feedback. The CozyLite fabric is made with a Poly, Cotton, Blend and may not be suitable in hot and humid conditions. We just launched a newer version of the this hoodie that is 100% poly and more ideal for Hot and Humid conditions. I think it's a quality shirt, well constructed and pleasant to wear, however I am struggling to find a use case for it. On runs where temps dip into the 50s and below, the cotton blend is a liability, and it may not keep you warm when you stop running. On humid days 80s and above, it can overheat you quickly. That being said, it may be good sun protection for hiking or general use, but I can't recommend for trail running.

I genuinely love this shirt, however being a cotton blend, it is not ideal if temps get below 50 degrees and you sweat. Probably a better use is a sun shirt in hot / humid conditions.

I've bought a lot of Runyon Canyon Apparel items over the years and gifted maybe just as many as I try to convince family and friends to support American-made apparel. I think this hoodie might be my favorite thing you've made. The pockets are super functional, it's versatile across a lot of temps, the hood is excellent, and the fit is perfect.
