Designer Commentary

When I began designing the Warm-It-Up Pullover Hoodie Sweatshirt and Warm-It-Up Jogger Sweatpants, I wanted to create more than another basic hoodie and sweatpant set. My goal was to combine the comfort of heavyweight French Terry with functional details that would actually be useful for training, traveling, outdoor activities, and everyday life.

The 14oz French Terry Tri-Blend was selected for its combination of softness, durability, and substantial weight. Made from 50% cotton, 40% polyester, and 10% rayon, the fabric offers the familiar comfort of cotton while the blended construction creates a soft, versatile sweatshirt fabric designed for frequent wear. The French Terry looped interior provides comfortable coverage without the traditional brushed-fleece interior found in many heavyweight sweatshirts.

Functionality was equally important. Hidden interior pockets provide convenient storage, while thumbholes extend coverage over the hands when temperatures drop. One of my favorite details is the watch window, which lets you view a running watch or fitness tracker without repeatedly pulling up your sleeve during a run, hike, workout, or outdoor activity.

The same functional approach carried over to the joggers. I chose outside side pockets rather than traditional interior pockets, which can feel bulky or awkward during activity. After seeing phones and other essentials slip out of loose pockets at the gym and while sitting down, practical storage became an important part of the design.

Both pieces are made from premium USA-knitted 14oz French Terry Tri-Blend textile and are designed, cut, and sewn in Los Angeles. The result is a heavyweight hoodie and jogger combination made for cool-weather training, travel, outdoor adventures, and comfortable everyday wear.

The Warm-It-Up Hoodie and Joggers are not pre-shrunk. Some shrinkage can occur when washed in hot water or dried on high heat. To better maintain the original fit and size, we recommend washing in cold water and tumble drying on low heat.
