Designer Commentary

When I began conceptualizing the Warm-It-Up Pullover Hoodie Sweatshirt and Warm-It-Up Jogger Sweatpants, I reflected on what I truly wanted from these wardrobe staples. My goal was to create original pieces that stood out that were functional, and thoughtfully designed.

For the hoodie, I prioritized features that blend practicality with innovation. Inside pockets were a must for secure storage, and I was determined to include thumbholes for added warmth and comfort. Thewatch windowwas a particularly exciting addition, allowing easy access to your wristwatch or fitness tracker—something I also hadn’t seen done before on a hooded sweatshirt.

For the joggers, I approached design with equal care. I opted foroutside side pocketsinstead of inside ones, which often feel awkward and less functional, especially in active settings. At the gym, I’ve seen too many phones precariously balanced in loose pockets, or items slipping out while sitting down. This inspired me to focus onpracticality and modern functionalityfor the joggers.

What truly elevates these products is the material. Both the pullover hoodie and joggers are crafted withUSA-grown cottonand feature a14oz French Terry textile, knitted and sewn in Los Angeles. This premium fabric is available in three rich colors:Navy,Olive, andWinter Whitein 100% French Terry cotton. Additionally, our heather styles—Heather GrayandDark Heather Gray—are made with aFrench Terry blendof 50% cotton, 40% polyester, and 10% rayon for added stretch and versatility.

It’s important to note that neither the hoodie nor the joggers are pre-shrunk. They will arrive in a relaxed fit and will shrink slightly after washing in hot water or drying on high heat. To maintain their original fit, we recommend washing in cold water and using a low heat drying cycle.
