Designer Commentary

When I began designing the Warm-It-Up Pullover Hoodie Sweatshirt and Warm-It-Up Jogger Sweatpants, I wanted to create heavyweight sweats that I would actually use for training, traveling, outdoor activities, and everyday wear. The fabric was especially important. I wanted the substantial feel of traditional heavyweight sweats while using 100% cotton French Terry rather than relying on a synthetic-heavy fabric.

The result is a substantial 14oz French Terry textile made from USA-grown cotton. It provides the softness and comfortable weight I wanted for cooler weather while maintaining the breathable feel of cotton. The fabric works especially well for joggers because it feels substantial without requiring a traditional brushed-fleece interior.

Functionality was equally important. I chose outside side pockets because I find them easier to access and more practical during everyday use. The elastic ankle bands create a classic tapered jogger fit, while the durable paracord drawstring makes it easy to adjust the waist for training, traveling, or relaxing.

The Warm-It-Up Hoodie and Joggers are not pre-shrunk. Some shrinkage will occur, particularly when washed in hot water or dried on high heat. To better maintain the original fit and size, we recommend washing in cold water and tumble drying on low heat.
