Built for speed, training, and everyday adventure, the Runyon All Sex Classic 3" Performance Running Short is a lightweight men's lined running short designed by endurance athletes for running, trail running, track workouts, hiking, gym training, beach workouts, and the outdoors. Featuring a built-in quick-dry brief liner, 4-way stretch performance shell, deep side splits, and a secure backside zipper phone pocket, these 3-inch running shorts are designed for unrestricted movement and all-day comfort. 4-Way Stretch Performance Fabric
The lightweight outer shell is constructed from flexible 4-way stretch performance fabric that moves naturally with every stride. Quick-dry, moisture-wicking fabric helps manage sweat during long runs, speed workouts, trail miles, hiking, gym sessions, and warm-weather training, while the built-in performance brief liner provides lightweight support and comfort.
3" Side Slits For Range of Motion
Deep 3" side slits provide an unrestricted range of motion for running, sprinting, climbing, squats, CrossFit, beach volleyball, and high-intensity workouts. The short athletic cut and split-leg design make these 3-inch running shorts ideal for runners who prefer maximum freedom of movement without excess fabric.
7" Zipper Phone Pocket
A secure 7" backside zipper pocket near the waistband provides convenient storage for a phone, keys, gels, cards, or other small essentials while running, hiking, training, or traveling. Select colors feature limited-edition reflective zipper detailing, while the Runyon reflective front emblem adds visibility in low-light conditions. Developed and field-tested by endurance runners, these performance shorts have gone the distance through everyday training and sub-3-hour marathons.

The bad: the seams are apparently too sturdy; it was chafe city for me. Not recommended if you don't have a thigh gap or tougher skin than I do. Assembly quality is marginal for a $64 short, mine had a large hole in the pocket. Runyon will take care of it, but it was disappointing.
The build quality is excellent. I expect them to last many years, making the price less of a hit.
The pocket in the back is well designed, pretty easy to access while running, and it holds phone and keys securely so you don't notice them with every step like most shorts with pockets I've tried.
I actually liked them so much, I bit the bullet and ordered the two pocket 5" Trail Stash shorts to check out.
