Great looking and feeling shorts but I need a zipper pocket to keep my keys secure. I can get them on $20 short from Amazon but not from you?

Hi Dan! Great to hear the shorts are feeling and looking great. The 4 built-in-brief pockets were designed as a minimal pocket to hide a key, a card, a gel, some cash or a phone sitting upright securely fastened against the lower back waist area. For a zipper backside pocket check out the 3" All Sex Classic Short. We wanted to make the Retro Ranger more of a minimal short without any zippers. Also the fabric isn't ideal for zippers. Our shorts are handcrafted in Los Angeles where the labor ain't cheap. The retail price of imported products in most cases are priced LESS than what it costs to make them in the USA. For "$20 shorts on Amazon" one can only imagine under what conditions and how much the labor is getting paid ... if at all.

These are pretty much exactly as I hoped and have been on the search for. I'm not tall(5'7") and so the 4inch inseam seems to land where I want it to on the thigh. These are slightly lighter than my Chicken Legs shorts, dry quickly, and also look cool. Can't wait to put 100 miles on them next week traversing the Olympic Penn. Right now the only aspect of them that I don"t think will really work for me are the liner pockets, as I won't be able to access them as a thru-hiker with my pack on, but maybe I find the extra material adds some abrasion resistance from my frameless pack. However, if youre just out for a run then the pockets are probably great for you. I do like having a pocket on my shorts since I dont use hip belt pockets on my pack, I would love to see some sort of retro running shorts like these with a pocket placement in mind for thru hikers.

Awesome running shorts. My favorite to run in for sure. High quality fabric and construction. Pockets are convenient to store items including my iPhone. I feel like these shorts will last a very long time and stay looking brand new. Great colors will definitely buy more

These are great. Love the length and colors. And in particular, I have no other running shirt that fits like these or is as light as these . Really cool material. My key fob (in the secret pockets) was the heaviest part of my shorts by far haha. 5 stars.
