Designer Commentary

When I began conceptualizing the Warm-It-Up Pullover Hoodie Sweatshirt and Warm-It-Up Jogger Sweatpants, I wanted to rethink what these everyday wardrobe staples could offer. The goal was to create comfortable, functional pieces with thoughtful details I actually wanted when training, traveling, and spending time outdoors.

For the hoodie, I started with functionality. Hidden inside pockets provide secure storage without changing the clean exterior of the sweatshirt, while thumbholes add hand coverage and warmth. I also incorporated watch windows into the sleeves so you can easily check a wristwatch or fitness tracker without pulling the cuff back.

For the joggers, I took the same functional approach by using outside side stash pockets rather than traditional inside pockets. I wanted storage that was easier to access and less likely to let a phone or other essentials slide out while sitting, training, traveling, or moving throughout the day.

One of my favorite parts of the Warm-It-Up Collection is the fabric. This version of the hoodie is crafted from USA-grown cotton using a substantial 14 oz 100% cotton French Terry textile that is knitted and sewn in Los Angeles. The result is a heavyweight natural fiber sweatshirt with the comfort, texture, and durability I wanted from a classic cotton hoodie.

This 100% cotton version is not pre-shrunk and may shrink after washing, particularly with hot water or high dryer temperatures. To help maintain the original fit, we recommend washing in cold water and tumble drying on low heat.
