Designer Commentary

When I began conceptualizing the Warm-It-Up Pullover Hoodie Sweatshirt and Warm-It-Up Jogger Sweatpants, I thought about what I actually wanted from these everyday wardrobe staples. My goal was to create original pieces that felt timeless and comfortable while incorporating functional details that made them more useful for training, traveling, and spending time outdoors.

For the hoodie, hidden inside pockets were a must. They provide useful storage for a phone, keys, and other essentials while maintaining a clean exterior. I also wanted thumbholes for additional hand coverage and warmth. One of my favorite details became the integrated watch windows, which allow easy access to a wristwatch or fitness tracker without constantly pulling back the cuff.

For the joggers, I took the same functional approach by using outside side stash pockets rather than traditional inside pockets. At the gym and while traveling, I've seen too many phones and other items slipping out of loose pockets. I wanted storage that was easier to access and more practical whether you're training, sitting, traveling, or simply moving throughout the day.

What really defines this version of the Warm-It-Up Collection is the fabric. The hoodie is made with USA-grown cotton using a substantial 14 oz 100% cotton French Terry textile that is knitted and sewn in Los Angeles. The traditional loopback construction provides the weight, texture, and comfort I wanted from a classic heavyweight sweatshirt while maintaining the natural feel and breathability of cotton.

This 100% cotton hoodie is not pre-shrunk and may shrink after washing, particularly when exposed to hot water or high dryer temperatures. To help maintain the original fit and dimensions, we recommend washing in cold water and tumble drying on low heat.
